A few weeks ago I went to Good Things Utah with the Young Women and I won a California Pizza Kitchen cookbook! So for dinner a few nights ago we decided to have a pizza night. The kids... all four of them. (Adam is just a big kid at heart) had so much fun rolling out the dough.
This sauce (Wal-marts GreatValue brand) is SO yummy!
Mmmmm Cheese
Isn't pepperoni everyone's favorite?
The finished product! We had so much fun! We will definitely have to do it again.
Today is Jack's birthday! We decided that we would go to the Living Planet aquarium since he loves fish. We have never been before so it was really fun for all of us. This is the kids looking at the Jelly fish- Kate's face is my favorite.
This was some kind of octopus- I'm sure it has a fancy name.
The kids all loved the rays.
They thought it was fun to touch the starfish and other fish.
Such cute kids.
The birthday boy.
They all loved this frog.
As we were leaving Jack saw this penguin and wanted to give it a "nuggle." What a fun boy. We are so grateful for him :)
Tonight we celebrated Jack's birthday with Grandma, Grandpa, Matt, Gina, Elizabeth and Zachary. We had a lot of fun. I made enchiladas for dinner. We had fun talking and the kids had fun playing together. Jack loved opening his presents.
We gave Him some new warm jammies
Matt, Gina, Elizabeth and Zachary gave Jack these fun cars and a big one that holds them all. Everyone knows how much I like organization so this was a big hit with me :) Jack loves it too.
The cute outfit from Grandma and Grandpa
Since Adam has been finishing the basement Jack has been really into tools. Grandma and Grandpa gave him this fun tool set- as you can see everyone loves it.
This was my favorite point of the night. He had no idea what was coming...
This is the "Digger" that he has wanted. It was too awkward to wrap so we had it hidden. The look on his face is priceless.
Jack was really excited when we picked up his Digger cake. I think he likes diggers- what about you?
Tonight was the PTA's fundraiser. Kena has been talking about it for weeks. If we didn't go it would have been the end of the world. They sent stuff home almost every day and then on the day of the event Kena came home with a sticker reminding us... like Kena would have let me forget. They had door prizes for the first 90 students. It started at 6 and we got there at about 5:45. This was the line when we got there.
By 6 when the started letting people in this was the line behind us. I guess this is what happens when they offer door prizes.
They had popcorn and so Jack was in heaven. This is what he did the whole time.
The girls got their faces painted.
They had fun playing games...
and winning prizes.
Kate was so excited because she learned how to spin a top all by herself.
There were so many people there and it was SO hot. We were done with everything so we were going to go home, but the main event was still to come... the unveiling of the mascot FIREBALL. When we told Kena it was time to go home she was really disappointed so Adam took Kate and Jack home and Kena and I stayed.
Kena and her friend Lili.
She is so weird :) I love it!
Waiting to see Fireball.
It was so cute. They turned out all the lights and had two people with huge flashlights waiving them around and a fog machine. They really went all out for the unveiling. Fireball was so fun he came out and did a dance to the school song. The kids were so excited.
Of course we couldn't leave without having our picture taken with Fireball. These are Kena's cousins who go to the same school. I'm glad we went- Kena had such a great time.
