Field Day

Kena's last day of kindergarten is tomorrow.
I can't believe how fast this year has gone.
Today was field day! I am so glad that I was able to go.
Thanks Lindsay for watching my kids.
The PTA had everything very organized with a rotation
between all of the stations every 15 minutes.
Our first stop was to get snow cones. Kena chose Cherry.

Then we went to the "get wet" station where the kids played the game where you pass the sponge over your head and try to get the most water in your bucket at the end.
(I have no idea what the boy next to Kena is doing... I think he is dancing)
She got nice and wet :)

Then it was off to the tug-a-war... Girls against boys.
The girls TOTALLY WON!!
Some of them got in a circle and did a little cheer after... it was so cute :)
Another match- girls against girls...
Kena's teem won again :)

Kena and her friends Lily and Secily

The next game was tootsies grab.
They took off their shoes so they could use their "tootsies"
To grab the fish
Then they played "splish, splish, SPLASH"

Kena got her face painted
It is supposed to be a heart...
I think it just looks like a red blob on her cheek.

Then they got to go to the bounce house...
I only got a picture of Kena's foot going through.

The last station was Tag.
First tag you had to put one hand behind your back
Second tag you put the other hand back
Third tag you had to hop around on one foot
and the Fourth tag you were out

I am so glad that I was able to go today.
It was so much fun to spend time with just me and Kena.

Swimming at Grandma and Grandpa's

The kids had so much fun today...
They love the water and they love Grandma and Grandpa's house
Put them both together and you have a super great day
After all the swimming fun and yummy food
we all sat on the sidewalk and watched fireworks.
What a great day.

Cars 2

Tonight we took Jack to the movie theater for the first time.

He has been so excited to see the new Cars 2 movie.
We got him a Lightning McQueen Shirt to wear
But what he was most excited about was...

The "Queen" hat
He is ready to go!
Outside the theater
Doesn't he look cute?

The girls are excited too

Here we are in our seats just waiting.

Such a fun movie.
At the beginning there was fire in the background and he kept yelling
"Mommy look at the fire"
He was dancing to the music.
When there was an explosion he yelled "WOW!"
I love seeing things through my children's eyes...
everything is so magical.

Ty's Allergic Reaction

When I went to get Ty this morning this is what I found...

I took him to the doctor because it looked like he was having an allergic reaction to the amoxicillin he was taking for his ear infection. His Dr. said he had never seen an allergic reaction look like this before. The rash is only on his face. It is not anywhere else on his body. He did take him off of the amoxicillin just in case that was what it was and perscribed something else for his ear infection.

Ty with Croup... agian

A couple of days ago Tyler started coughing again
and since it has only been about 6 weeks since his
last round of croup we were pretty sure we knew what it was.
Adam took him to the instacare and we were right (he also had bilateral ear infections).

One of the things that they say to do is take them outside in the cold air and let them breath it. Well, it's not cold outside so they suggested letting him breath in the cold air from the freezer. So this is Ty all bundled up so he won't be too cold.

Kena's display for the Easter Bunny

This is what Kena left by her basket for the Easter Bunny
This is a picture that Kena drew of the Easter Bunny
and she labeled it "for you" so the Easter Bunny knew he could have it

This is her darling bunny that her grandma gave her.
She wanted the Easter Bunny to see it,
but as you can see she labeled it "not for you"

This is the whole display... such a funny girl.
